    2018 Varsity Calendar 
     
         Please refer to the North Allegheny Athletic Page for what is required in order to TRYOUT for a team.  ALL PAPERWORK AND MONEY MUST BE SUBMITTED BY AUGUST 3, 2018.  DO NOT SHOW UP TO TRYOUTS WITH PAPERWORK.  ALL PAPERS AND CHECKS REQUIRED BY THE DISTRICT MUST GO TO THE ATHLETIC OFFICE. 
     
     IN ADDITION TO THE PAPERWORK AND REQUIRED PARTICIPATION FEES, THERE IS A FEE OF $41    FOR GREENS FEES DURING TRYOUTS. The $ 41   covers 18 Holes at North Park Golf Course and 18 holes at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course.  This check must be made out to:__N.A.     It is strongly encouraged that you try to play all three courses listed below prior to tryouts.   
     
     
     
     
    GOLF TRYOUTS:  
    Things to remember:
       *Dress appropriately - golf attire (no cargo or gym shorts, golf shorts and a collared shirt)
       ** Line golf bags up neatly in a line well away from the practice green.  Do not block walkways.
       ***Keep voices down and focus on preparring your game. 
       ****Make sure your golf bags are stocked with tees, golf balls, and a snack, water, sun screen. 
     
      
    Tryouts this year will occur:
     
    Monday, 8/13/18 - North Park Golf Course - Meeting at 10 am - Check in by 9:45 am with Coach Knorr at the practice putting green- Tee time to follow meeting
     
    Tuesday, 8/14/18 - Lakevue North Golf Course - Meeting at 7:30 am - Tee time to follow meeting
     
    Wednesday, 8/15/18 - Pheasant Ridge Golf Course - Meeting at 7 am - Tee time to follow meeting
     
    Parents are not permitted on the courses.  
                                                                                 
                                                                                    
    AUGUST 16th @ TBD- Combined team Mtg - 11am
                               TEAMS WILL MEET AT THEIR HOME COURSES TO BEGIN SEASON that afternoon. 
     
     
     
     
    STARTING AUGUST 13TH, PLEASE DONT SCHEDULE VACATIONS.  PLAN ON PLAYING OR PRACTICING MONDAY - FRIDAY UNTIL THE FIRST WEEK OF OCTOBER.  

    HOME MATCHES OR PRACTICES LAST UNTIL AT LEAST 6:30.  NO SCHOOL BUS TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED FOR HOME PRACTICES OR MATCHES BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINS AUGUST 17TH. 

    ONCE SCHOOL BEGINS, BUS TRANSPORTATION FOR JV GOLF TEAM MEMBERS WILL BE OFFERED FROM NAI TO NORTH PARK GOLF COURSE. NO RETURN BUS IS PROVIDED. PARENTS MUST PICK UP FROM THE COURSE.  NASH jv PLAYERS WILL NEED TO DRIVE THEMSELVES TO THE COURSE OR TAKE SHUTTLE TO NAI AND THEN TRASFER TO BUS OVER TO GOLF COURSE.

    OUR RETURN FROM AWAY MATCHES VARIES DEPENDING ON THE DISTANCE AND COURSE CONDITIONS.  WE RETURN TO NASH FOR PARENT PICKUP AFTER AWAY MATCHES.

                   Private, 18 holes.  Diamond Run Golf Club is a golfer’s haven. Situated in the rolling hills of Sewickley, Pennsylvania.  This 18-hole Gary Player signature course in a quiet natural setting that creates a charming ambience for formal elegance with a casual atmosphere.

                   Public, 18 holes. - This long and hilly course has sand bunkers and trees that come into play throughout the entire layout. The signature hole is #1, a 511-yard, par 5, featuring a tree-lined, dogleg left fairway. Sand Bunkers: 51-60, Yardage Markers: 150 Yard Markers Only.
