I am thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Bradford Woods Elementary School!
We are going to have a year filled with laughter, learning, and fun!

    A little about me...

I received my B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Valparaiso University in the state of Indiana and my Elementary Teaching Certification from the University of Pittsburgh.  I decided that you are never too old to do something new (especially something you think you will love!), so I changed careers and am so glad that I did.  I previously taught Kindergarten at Ingomar Elementary for four years, and prior to that I taught K, 1 and 2 at Marshall Elementary as a long term sub.  I am happy to be a part of the Bradford Woods Family for my fifth year!  Getting to know your children and helping them grow socially, emotionally and academically throughout our year together is an amazing privilege that I cherish!

My husband and I have twins, John and Jana, who attended North Allegheny (Marshall Elementary) and are 2020 college graduates!  Our daughter, Jana, is currently in her first year of medical school at WVU.  Our son, John, was a political science major and currently works for a law firm in Wexford and is contemplating his next career direction.  While a part of the NA school community, our children were so fortunate to balance their academics with amazing extracurricular activities. Jana particpated in ice hockey and orchestra and John was a member of the volleyball team and band.  While we miss those busy, fun days, my husband and I look forward to new adventures ahead! I love to read, cook, visit with friends, play with our very active Aussiedoodle, Tucker, and solve puzzles (the paper and pencil kind).  Our family also loves to visit Walt Disney World and look for all of the hidden Mickeys!
