    Frequently Asked Questions:

    1. What time does my student need to be at school on the night of the concert?

      • All students should arrive @ 6:30PM for attendance

      • 6th Grade meeting in the CHORUS ROOM

      • 7th Grade meeting in the ORCHESTRA ROOM

      • 8th Grade meeting in the BAND ROOM

      • Marshall Voices members NOT in chorus - meet in the CHORUS ROOM

    2. What should my students wear for the concert?

      • Hair: Pulled back and away from the face

      • Top: Solid black top that meets school dress code (no t-shirts, ties optional)

      • Bottom: Solid black dress pants (no jeans, leggings, or sweat pants) 

      • Socks: Black opaque socks/foot coverings 

      • Shoes: Solid black closed toed dress shoes with a heel less than 2” high (no sneakers or slides) 

      • Jewelry: No rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, Apple watch, fitbit, smart watch, hair ties on stage. *Exceptions: medical bracelets, small stud earrings

    3. How long is the program?

      • It starts at 7:00PM and we anticipate the conclusion around 8:20ish. 

    4. What safety measures are in place regarding Covid and concert attendance?

      • All attendees and performers must wear a face covering while inside the school

      • Recommended - one parent per household due to seating capacity

      • Distance between people outside of an individual’s household should be to the maximum extent feasible (3-6 feet)

      • Tickets are not required for this event

    Spring Chorus Concert

    2:00PM/7:00PM

    Concert Attire:

    • Hair - pulled back and away from the face

    • Top - Solid black top that meets school dress code - Marshall Middle School Performance Polo acceptable (no t-shirts, ties optional)

    • Bottoms - Solid black dress pants (no jeans, leggings, or sweat pants)

    • Socks - Black opaque socks/foot coverings

    • Shoes - Solid black closed toed dress shoes with a heel less than 2” high (no slides)

    • No rings, necklaces, bracelets, watches, Apple watch, fitbit, smart watch, hair ties on stage. Exceptions: medical bracelets, small stud earrings

     

    2:00PM School Concert Information 

    Students should wear their concert attire to school. We will be performing during Activity Period for the student body. Parents are welcome to attend after signing into the front office as a visitor since it is being held during school hours. 

     

    7:00PM Evening Concert Information

    Chorus students should meet in the chorus room in concert attire by 6:30PM. Please plan your schedule accordingly. We anticipate the concert ending by approximately 8:20PM.
