Bradford Woods is hosting a Walk to School Day on Tuesday, October 3.  The event is to promote physical activity and pedestrian safety.   On the morning of the walk, several Bradford Woods teachers and staff, along with the District Transportation Safety Coordinator, will greet the buses at the intersection of Bradford and Forest Roads for the students to walk to school.  In addition to the North Allegheny staff, the Northern Regional Police will be monitoring traffic along Bradford Road and Lincoln Road.

For the safety of the students Glenmore Road and Forest Road will be closed from 8:40 a.m.to 9:15 a.m. increasing traffic on these two roadways.  Please make a note of the road closures and new traffic patterns when planning your morning commute.  There will be no parental drop off at the building.  All students will walk to school via Forest Road.

Parents, if you live within walking distance, feel free to participate with your child.  Walk to School Day will be canceled if it is raining; therefore please consult the Bradford Woods webpage if there is inclement weather. Please direct any questions you may have about the event to Mrs. Frisco (bfrisco@northallegheny.org).
