    I teach 11th grade Academic and Honors English. American Literature resonates with my personal outlook on life, so I enjoy engaging with my students and having them connect with the literature. Teaching Yearbook allows my creative side to come into play since we work with photography, page layout, and writing articles.  

    I graduated from Slippery Rock with my Bachelor's in Secondary Education English and my Master's in Education. 

    Outside of school, you can usually catch me spending time with friends and family. I enjoy exercising in my free time, and I am always trying new gyms and workout routines. The diligence in my fitness endeavors has poured over into the classroom giving me the structure of setting a goal and achieving it. My family and I enjoy the outdoors spending quality time talking.
