M. Ed in Curriculum and Instruction-Gannon University
As an educator, I believe that all students are capable of learning, and I sincerely strive to foster a happy, fun, educational environment where all children feel loved and safe. It is important to me that my students look forward to coming to school each day. I hope that my students leave each day feeling excited and eager to find out what we will be doing next. Learning can look different for all children. At Peebles, I'm happy to differentiate instruction and classroom learning opportunites to meet the needs of all students. Most of all, I hope and wish that my students believe in themselves and know that they can and will be successful in Kindergarten (while we have a ton of fun along the way!)!
This is my ninth year teaching. I am so incredibly happy to be here at Peebles- the little school with a BIG heart!
I'm thrilled to be your child's teacher!
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go!”
-Dr. Seuss
A little about me:
I have a very sweet, five-year-old boy named Clayton (picture below). He is full of energy(and I mean full), love, curiosity, and life. We also have a three-year-old, Levi, who's as sweet and as happy as can be! My husband and I also basically raise a zoo with one dog and four cats!
I've wanted to teach kindergarten nearly my entire life. This will be my eleventh year as an educator. I decided to become a kindergarten teacher when I was in kindergarten it was a difficult adjustment and transition for me. My goal is to provide your child with a rich, nurturing, public school experience while still having tons of fun along the way!
I enjoy spending time with family and friends, teaching, kayaking, being outside, shopping, and watching my little guys grow. I'm beyond thrilled to be your child's teacher and looking forward to our adventure together this year!
