I absolutely love working with teachers to successfully integrate technology in their classroom! I can honestly say that I've found my "Element."  Sir Ken Robinson says this is the place where the things we love to do and the things we are good at come together.  (If you haven't read his books or watched his TED Talks, I highly recommend them!)

A little bit about my background...

I earned my M.S.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Duquesne University in 2011.  I also have a B.S. in Secondary Math Education from Duquesne University and hold Pennsylvania teaching certifications in Math 7-12 and Instructional Technology Specialist.  Prior to working at North Allegheny, I was a Classrooms for the Future Coach at Greater Latrobe School District, a SMART Technologies Field Trainer, and an Instructional Designer in the Educational Technology department at Duquesne University.

I've presented at PETE&C, TRETC, the CCAC Summer Faculty Institute, and virtually presented at the SLOAN-C 7th Annual Emerging Technologies for Online Learning International Symposium.  All of my presentations thus far have had a focus on online and blended learning (this is my wheelhouse.)  Over the past several years, I've spent my career collaborating with teachers from K-Higher Ed to use technology in their teaching and students' learning. Seriously, how did I get so lucky?

    A little bit about me...

I currently reside in Conway with my husband, Dom, who is the Director of Development at the Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, and our son, Marco.  I'm also the NHS Sponsor at NASH. I enjoy traveling, staying active, and being outside.

I'm truly looking forward to working with you.  We're going to have a lot of fun this school year!
