My name is Samantha Smyers and I am entering my first year of teaching with North Allegheny School District, working in Emotional Support at NAI. Previous to my experience with the district, I worked for Shaler Area School District in Learning and Emotional Support. I also served Shaler Area as the Varsity Women's Golf and Varsity Women's Bowling Coach. 

I received my undergraduate degree from La Roche College, my Masters in Teaching from Waynesburg University, and my Special Education Certificate from Slippery Rock University. 

When I am not working I enjoy golfing, estate sale shopping, listening to music and being with friends and family. 

I am incredibly excited for this upcoming school year and working with the amazing students at NAI!
