• Hi, my name is Emily Begley and I am a Pittsburgh native!  I graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education in 2004.  I then attended Penn State University for graduate school in a specialized Master of Education program focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorders and Applied Behavior Analysis.  Upon graduation in 2007, I worked as an Autistic Support Teacher in the State College Area School District for 9 years.  I am in my 4th year as Marshall Elementary's primary Autistic Support Teacher.  We participate in the Autism Initiative through PaTTAN with a focus on ABA and Verbal Behavior to better serve individuals with special needs using effective instructional methods for students with autism.

Aside from my busy school schedule and love for teaching, my husband and I have two daughters, Ellie (8) and Molly (6).

Please feel free to email me with any questions!
