    Star Student Information!

    A very special part of kindergarten is Star of the Week!  This is your child’s special time to share important things all themselves with our class!  Here are the important things to know about being the Star Student:

    Day 1 of your child’s week:  Poster Day!  Your child should bring a poster with pictures of themselves, family, and friends.  This poster will be shared and displayed in our classroom!  Please fill out the attached questionnaire and return with the poster!
    Day 2:  Show and Tell Day!  Your child can bring one special item to show the class!

    Day 3:  Estimation Jar!  Your child should bring items for our estimation jar today in the attached bag.  Please send all of the same item for the jar (legos, cars, etc…).  Please limit the items sent to less than 100 and include the ‘answer’ to Estimation Jar in a sealed envelope.  Please don’t tell your child how many items are in the bag!  We want them to guess too!

    Day 4:  Book Day!  Your child can bring their favorite book to school today to share with the class!  They do not have to know how to read the book!
