If you did not receive my email, please contact me at afunk@northallegheny.org.Best wishes for a wonderful 2020-2021 school year!About Mrs. Funk.....Mrs. Funk begins her 29th year of teaching strings/orchestra at North Allegheny this fall. A violinist, she graduated summa cum laude in 1990 from Clarion University with a B.S. in Music Education. She completed her M.Ed. in 1992 at Penn State University with a concentration in string pedagogy, and began teaching elementary strings at Espe, McKnight, and Peebles Elementary in the fall of 1992. Mrs. Funk began playing the violin in the 5th grade at Peebles Elementary. She is a graduate of North Allegheny and participated in the orchestra programs at North Allegheny for 8 years. Mrs. Funk lives in the district with her husband and 2 children.
