  • Animals A to Z is our theme this year at McKnight for all art class!

    We will be learning about animals of all kinds and exploring art works and artists from Ancient to Contemporary Times to see how the Great Masters made their enduring animal-themed art throughout history. As in past years, we are saving most of our students’ art work in preparation for our annual McKnight Student Art Exhibit which will be held on March 15, 2016.  On that evening art from all students in Kindergarten through 5th grade will be displayed with pride for their families and the community to enjoy. The children will bring home all of their art projects in the weeks following the exhibit.  Occasionally the students have a few moments at the end of an art class to sketch or color a little on their own and they will bring these “art-to-go” papers home.  These do not represent the “Animals: A to Z” projects we are creating each week!
