• The Caring Team 
     
    The Caring Team for Children began as a way for students, schools, and corporations to work together to support children in need in our towns, our own school districts and our own communities.  As an avenue for raising awareness of the Caring Place and the issue of children's grief, competitive Caring Team Schools raise money throughout September - March.  The donations that are collected are matched dollar for dollar by Highmark, so that twice as many children can be helped.
     
    The Caring Place is a safe place with safe people where children and their families can: 
    *  see what they are going through is normal 
    *  know that they are not alone in their grief
    *  share their feelings memories and experiences, in a non-judgmental atmosphere
     
    The services of the Caring Place are offered at no cost to the families.
