Greetings from Franklin Elementary School! It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the 2021 ~ 2022 school year!

Founded in 1936, Franklin has become an exemplary learning community in which all students are valued, respected, and celebrated. Rooted in its storied history and tradition, Franklin is a beacon of civic pride and academic excellence. Proud of the past, inspired by the present, and enthused for the future, we know that the best is yet to come for Franklin Elementary School.

Recognized as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, we are committed to providing high-quality instruction incorporating current best teaching practices for all students in a safe, healthy, nurturing learning environment. Charged with the responsibility of preparing students for success in the 21st century, it is imperative that we educate the whole child by providing rigorous, comprehensive learning opportunities founded on high expectations, a challenging curriculum, and a shared commitment to excellence.

With a mindful eye on health and wellness, we continue to implement the District's Wellness Policy. Adhering to this policy not only promotes healthy living and decision-making, but also ensures that we are maintaining a safe environment in which all Franklin students can learn, grow, and thrive.

Parents/guardians are a vital factor in the educational process; a factor that we must draw upon in order for our students to realize their full potential. I look forward to strengthening the robust home-school relationship that already exists within the Franklin community.

With the construction/renovation project fully complete, we officially re-open this year as a large elementary school with nearly 700 students and 100 staff members. This is indeed an exciting time to be a part of the Franklin Family, and I am incredibly proud to work collaboratively with our students, staff, and community!
