Dear Franklin Elementary Families,

I am so happy to join the Franklin family as a Reading Specialist!  While this is my third year at North Allegheny, it is my 15th year of teaching.  I was a classroom teacher for seven years and then became a Reading Specialist and ESL Program Specialist serving three independent schools in Pittsburgh.  During my last two years at NA, I had the opportunity to serve as an MTSS Interventionist at Hosack and a Reading Specialist at NACA.

My husband, Jason, is a high school math and science teacher, so teaching is in our family!  We have two children - Henry (5) and Rosy (2 1/2).  We love hiking and being outside together as a family, running, and gardening.
