    Mrs. Hoffmann About Mrs. Hoffmann:
     
     Mrs. Hoffmann began her musical studies at the age of 4, beginning with violin, and then piano.  Later, she began studies in voice and organ.  She was named winner of the Claire Whitehurst-Ulrich national piano award, a winner of the Westmoreland Symphony Orchestra Young Artists Competition, and a winner of the Judges McCormick & Pezze award for excellence in the arts.  Mrs. Hoffmann received her B.S. in Music Education from Duquesne University in 2008, and began teaching general music in the Shaler Area school district, where she taught for seven years.
     
    Mrs. Hoffmann began teaching in North Allegheny in 2015.   In addition to teaching, Mrs. Hoffmann is the assistant Director of Music at St. Alexis Parish in Wexford, Pennsylvania.  Mrs. Hoffmann is active as a vocalist and pianist throughout the Pittsburgh area, and often teaches at workshops and summer camps throughout the summer.  She is an active member of the National Association of Music Educators (NAFME), the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), and the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA).  Mrs. Hoffmann lives in Economy Borough with her husband, son, and daughter.
