My name is Lauren Clore and I am so excited to be your art teacher here at Ingomar Elementary School! This is my 9th year teaching and my 2nd year as the art teacher here at IES!

I have previously taught in Frederick County Public Schools in Maryland, Pressley Ridge School for Autism & School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh and most recently as a long-term substitute for Hosack Elementary & Franklin Elementary in NASD. I went to Edinboro University of PA and received my BS in Art Education, BFA in Graphic Design & a minor in art history. 

While your artist is in our art room, I believe they are creative problem solvers. I hope to strengthen their self-confidence as they make decisions and take risks. I encourage a climate where my students understand they are free to express themselves through their work, through openness, laughter, support, and conversation in class.
