Biography:
This is my nineteenth year of teaching 4th grade at Ingomar Elementary. I’m a proud graduate of Penn State University with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and a Reading Specialist certificate from the University of Pittsburgh. Being a lifelong learner is certainly a goal of mine! My husband and I live in Pine Township with our son, Parker (13 years old). Even though my family lives in Pine Richland, I’m no stranger to this community. I grew up in McCandless Township and graduated from NA in 1994. I’m so fortunate to not only be back in this district but to have the opportunity to instill a love of learning for each student. I’m a teacher who will strive to help each student reach his/her potential by creating a nurturing environment, using a variety of teaching methods, and communicating with the parents and the staff of IES. I look forward to developing a partnership with you this year!
