    Welcome to 1-B! I am very excited to teach your child this year at Ingomar Elementary. This is a very exciting year for students since they will be in school for a full day, ride the bus both ways to school and eat lunch in the cafeteria! We will have plenty of fun in first grade while learning academics such as reading and mathematics. Students will also learn responsibility and the importance of good citizenship. Get ready for the adventures of first grade!!!!
     
    A little bit about myself...
    I have taught for 26 years and live within the district. I earned my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and Masters Degree in Education both from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. 
     
    I have two sons, Nolan and Logan, who also attend North Allegheny. Nolan is in 12th grade at NASH and Logan is in 8th grade at IMS.  I am very understanding with how busy everyone is with their own professions, children, homework, and sports. 
     
    Some of my favorite things to do are run, watch my children play football, lacrosse and hockey, and spend time by my pool in the summer. I have participated in the Pittsburgh 1/2 Marathon in 2012, 2013, 2015 and 2016. 

    Please be assured that your child will be cared for, loved, protected, and nurtured while in my classroom. I know how special your children are to you, and I will do my best to educate and take care of them.
