I'm sure you can tell that I am so excited to be your teacher this year!  We will learn so much from each other on our fifth grade journey!  This year you will grow so much socially and academically. Do your best, and you will be sure to have a fabulous year!!

Don’t forget the most important lessons in 5th grade:

    1.   It’s alright to make mistakes as long as you learn from them.  Be okay with making mistakes. So take a shot…you’ll always miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.

    2.  No matter what you say, it’s your actions that speak for you.  So, think twice and act once.  Choose your words carefully though too!

    3.  Together Everyone Achieves More (TEAM) because each of us brings something valuable for the team. Don’t be afraid to share your strengths and recognize others’ strengths as well.

    4.  Be environmentally conscious.  Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.  (If you really know me, you knew I had to put this one in here!)
