    the Baierl Center

The Baierl Center has become a facility for student and community activity in North Allegheny. The Baierl Center is a 48,000 square-foot building that includes:

    • a 130-foot-by-100 foot activity room
    • 3,500 square-feet of furnished meeting and conference space
    • four locker rooms
    • a concession stand
    • restroom facilities
    • a 3,500 square-foot fitness center
    • an extensive trainer's room
    • an indoor walking and jogging facility

As community groups have become more aware of the Center, its uses have expanded. Originally conceived to be used exclusively for student athletic and extracurricular events, the Baierl Center has hosted training and conditioning for local fire, police and FBI personnel, meeting space for local community groups such as AARP, Veterans, Girl Scouts, A.P. Testing, as well as indoor walking exercise for all citizens. Other uses are limited only by the imagination of the North Allegheny Community.

The North Allegheny Association for the Advancement of Sports and Education is continuing its effort to complete its financial obligations toward the Baierl Center. So ar, we have raised $2.3 million and have renewed our efforts to raise the last $400, 000 to finish up our obligation. The Hall of Fame Association has pledged to donate 20% of its funds toward the Baierl Center's debt service. We challenge all other groups to do the same.

Many companies, families, organizations and individuals have generously contributed their time and money. If you or your company are interested in helping up to meet our financial goals and obligations, please contact:
