Joe Bullick, Curator & Historian Special Saturday Hours The NA History Museum is open on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in February and March 2015. The museum includes thousands of unique artifacts that represent various decades of history and experience in the North Hills community and particularly the North Allegheny School District. Students, parents, residents and senior citizens will discover new and familiar treasures to enjoy again and again. Please plan to stop by or to schedule an off-site presentation by Mr. Bullick that will delight all in attendance! Joe Bullick was named a Jefferson Award Honoree for his work as the Curator of the North Allegheny History Museum and his other volunteer work in our community. The Jefferson Awards are presented on a national and local level and recognize ordinary citizens who, through volunteer service, do extraordinary things for other people, their community, their nation, or the environment. The program was founded in 1972 by Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, U.S. Senator Robert Taft, Jr. and Sam Beard. Joe Bullick began his long-time association with the District in 1957 when he accepted his first position as a substitute custodian. |
