The Museum ProjectThe North Allegheny School District and the Town of McCandless launched a collaborative effort to house the long-time collection of local historian Joseph Bullick. The new museum site, located at 830 Pump House Lane in Wexford, will be designed as a replica of a one-room schoolhouse. The new site is expected to be completed in the spring of 2016. The museum will house hundreds of artifacts pertaining to the NA School District, McCandless Township, and the surrounding communities. The history museum will remain at its current site at McKnight Elementary School until the completion of the project.
Pathway to the PastInterested community members have the opportunity to contribute and become a part of this project. Anyone who wishes to donate to the project will receive an engraved brick to be placed on the "Pathway to the Past" sidewalk leading to the entrance of the museum. Please contact the Museum Project Coordinator, Maria Costanza, for additional details or information.
