At Franklin Elementary, students receive a rich and diverse education in the Arts. Students participate in weekly, forty-five minute classes in both Music and Art. Student artwork is displayed with pride throughout our building and also showcased in an annual Art Show.
Beginning in third grade, students have the opportunity to play a stringed instrument in the orchestra. Beginning in 4th grade, students have the opportunity to sing in chorus and play a wind or percussion instrument in the band. Instrumental lessons are offered during the school day and all musical ensembles meet once per week during the school day. Chorus, Band, and Orchestra perform two school concerts each year.
