I have been a teacher in this wonderful school district for many years.  I started out as a middle school
gifted teacher at Ingomar Middle.  Then I transferred over to McKnight to teach elementary gifted before transitioning into kindergarten.   I am proud to say that this will be my sixth year of teaching kindergarten. Before NA, I began my teaching career in Woodland Hills School District as a First Grade and then a Second Grade teacher, so you can see that I have taught a wide range of things as well as students.

I am very excited to be teaching kindergarten.  It is an amazing age to work with, and I feel honored to be able to introduce your child to McKnight and help lay the foundation of learning for their future school years ahead.  This year's school wide theme is 'Be Kind' and it is my goal to encourage your child to be kind to everyone and make a difference in a positive way each and every day.  I truly believe that McKnight is a terrific school that provides a safe and friendly educational environment for all children to learn and grow in their elementary years.

I am an NA parent as well.  My husband and I have three wonderful children.  This year we have a daughter that is a Senior at NASH and a daughter that is a Freshman at NAI as well as a seventh grade son.
