• First Week of School Activities for the Remote Learning Days

    Practice logging into Tiger ID.  It takes a lot of practice to type your name and password correctly.  Password is nacubs.

    Practice your ID number.  This is for your lunch number.

    Practice typing on the iPad.  Try using the shift key for uppercase letters and switch between letters and numbers

    Write a sentence about something you did over the summer and draw a picture. 

    Read for 20 minutes each day

    Practice printing your first name

    Practice printing numbers 1-10.  Draw objects for each number.

    Find things in your house that start with the letters of the alphabet.  It’s ok if you don’t find something that starts with Q or X.  Example:  A-apple

    Practice your math facts.  If it is nice outside you could make a 1-10 number line out of chalk and hop from number to number to practice math facts.  4+2=_ Start on 4 and hop 2 numbers to land on 6. 

    Find shapes in everyday objects around your house and draw pictures of them.  Look for circles, triangles, squares, and rectangles.     Example: circle-plate, rectangle-folder

    Practice counting.  How far can you count?
